She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (1991), a master's degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1997), a doctorate in Economic Theory from the University of São Paulo (2003), and a professorship in International Economics from the same university (2016). She is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of International Relations at the University of São Paulo. She has experience in the areas of Economics, with an emphasis on International Economics and Economic Development, and International Political Economy, with an emphasis on the Political Economy of International Trade.
