Full Professor at the Institute of International Relations, University of São Paulo (USP). He is a PQ/CNPq Research Fellow, Coordinator of the Center for the Study of International Negotiations (NAP-Caeni-IEA/USP), and Coordinator of the Innovation and Science Diplomacy School (InnSciD). He graduated in Medicine from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP), holds a PhD from the Department of Political Science (FFLCH), and he is Livre Docente from the Institute of International Relations. He served as Deputy Director of the Museu Paulista (2020-2024), Deputy Director of the Institute of International Relations at USP (2014-2018), Representative of Full Professors at the Conselho Universitário of USP, Executive Secretary of the Brazilian Political Science Association (2009–2012), and Chair of the Graduate and Research Committee at IRI-USP (2009–2013). He was a Visiting Researcher at the Woodrow Wilson Center and a Postdoctoral Fellow at New York University (NYU). His research focuses on International Relations, with an emphasis on international negotiation, science diplomacy, foreign policy, and business sector. (Information provided by the author)
