Ph.D. in Political Science from USP (2006–2010), Visiting Researcher in Political Science at Yale University (2008–2009), and M.A. in International Relations from UNICAMP (San Tiago Dantas Program, 2003–2005). He is an Associate Professor at the Institute of International Relations, USP, a researcher at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP), and Academic Director of the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). He was a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Political Science, Yale University (2019–2020), Program Chair of the International Studies Association Annual Convention 2020 (Honolulu, Hawaii, USA), Associate Editor of Foreign Policy Analysis (2021–2023), and a member of the organizing committee of the T20/G20 Brazil 2024 (CEBRI, IPEA, and FUNAG). He authored the textbook International Relations Theory (Editora Contexto, 2021), adopted in several IR courses in Brazil. He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the CEBRI-Journal. His research agenda has two main areas. First, he studies Brazilian foreign policy. Second, he studies public opinion and foreign policy in Brazil and Latin America. He teaches the undergraduate courses “International Relations Theory” and “Grand Strategy and Foreign Policy,” and the graduate course “Qualitative Methodology in International Relations” at IRI-USP. (Information provided by the author)
