She is an Associate Professor at the Institute of International Relations at the University of São Paulo and the President of the Graduate Committee. She was the coordinator of the Bachelor's in International Relations at this Institute (2013-2018) and served as President of the National and International Cooperation Committee (2019-2022). She obtained her habilitation (Livre Docente) in 2015 from IRI-USP. She holds a PhD in Business Economics from Fundação Getulio Vargas - SP, a Master's in Management and Public Administration from Universiteit Antwerpen, Belgium, a Master's in Public Administration and Government (with a focus on Economics and Public Finance) from Fundação Getulio Vargas - SP, and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of São Paulo. She completed her postdoctoral research at American University in Washington, D.C. (2012). She has worked as a consultant at FGV Projetos. Her expertise is in Economics, with an emphasis on International Political Economy, particularly on topics related to international finance, international financial governance, financial integration, financial systems of emerging countries from a comparative perspective, and macroeconomic coordination.
